On the Bridge of Life

The little girl in the painting is someone I know. I snapped her picture as we crossed the bridge. It is a rendition of the Greenville Liberty bridge, a pedestrian bridge which overlook the Reedy river fall.
I saw myself in the little girl and perhaps you will to. It's about one's own unique path and journey into higher consciousness...

Falls Cottage

Falls Cottage is located on Main Street, Greenville, a few steps from my studio. Early Spring the pink blooming tree is simply magical. It was the first large painting I completed after my husband Guy passed away in 2013. It recently went to live in Maryland with a lovely lady. I had a lot of fun figuring out this one. It taught me so much. For several days I lost myself in it and then we found each other.

The Journey of Soul

This painting has connections to my early childhood dreams as well as Greenville scenery. From my studio I could see the bridge (outlined in light green) and the two crepe myrtles. Of course, I took a lot of liberties. I am very much drawn to the enchanted and dreamlike imageries.

Main Street Bridge, Greenville

I have been in my downtown Greenville Studio since 2006. I am leaving at the end of this month. Moving on to new adventures that will also include paint brushes and canvas.
